- Gmail (Google): When you connect your Gmail account, we access email metadata (sender, subject, date) and email content to perform AI classification. We use Google's OAuth 2.0 for secure authorization.
- Slack: When you connect Slack, we access your workspace information and the ability to post messages to your selected channel for notifications.
2.3 Automatically Collected Information
- Usage Data: How you interact with the Service, features used, and actions taken

- OpenAI: Email content is sent to OpenAI's API for AI classification. OpenAI processes this data according to their Privacy Policy. We use OpenAI's API which does not use your data to train their models.
- Stripe: Payment processing is handled by Stripe according to their Privacy Policy.
- Google: Gmail integration is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
- Slack: Slack integration is subject to Slack's Privacy Policy.
- Hosting Providers: Amazon Web Services (AWS) for infrastructure hosting.
4.2 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government request, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

- Email Content: We do not permanently store the full content of your emails. Email content is processed in real-time for classification and then discarded. We retain only email metadata (sender, subject, classification result, AI summary) for your email history.
- Account Data: We retain your account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services.
- After Account Deletion: Upon account deletion request, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., fraud prevention, legal compliance).

8. Google API Services User Data Policy
Sortie Email.ai's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Specifically:
- We only request access to the Gmail scopes necessary to provide our email classification service
- We do not use Gmail data for advertising purposes
- We do not allow humans to read your emails unless required for security purposes, to comply with applicable law, or with your explicit consent
- We do not transfer Gmail data to third parties except as necessary to provide the Service (OpenAI for classification), with your consent, or as required by law
9. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):
