Frequently Asked Questions
What happens after the 7-day trial?
If you enjoy Sortie, you'll be charged based on your chosen plan—$9.99/month or $99.99/year—after your trial ends. You can cancel anytime before that and won't be charged.
Do I need a credit card to start the trial?
No! You can start your 7-day free trial without entering any payment information. We'll only ask for payment details when you decide to continue.
What email providers do you support?
Currently, Sortie works with Gmail (including Google Workspace). We're working on support for Outlook and other providers.
Is my email data secure?
Absolutely. We process your emails to classify them but don't store email content long-term. We use encrypted connections and never share or sell your data. We also never train AI models on your emails.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. You'll continue to have access until the end of your billing period.
How do custom AI tags work?
You can create categories with their own criteria, Gmail labels, archive/read behavior, and Slack alerts. Sortie assigns each email to the one tag that best matches, or to your fallback tag when none fit.
